In The Beginning...

The Waters Church began in August of 2006 when God called Pastor Jack McGoldrick, his wife Jane and a platoon size unit (maybe a little less than a platoon) to begin a new work in the city of Fallbrook. From our first celebration in a local park, to a nearby resort ballroom, to Frazier Elementary School, to what we now call home, Potter Jr. High School on Reche Road, we are committed to reaching a lost and hurting community for Jesus Christ.

Our name came about as we developed an acrostic for the six purposes of our church; Worship, A.S.K. (Ask, Seek, Knock), Teach, Encourage, Reach, and Serve.

We are committed to being relevant to this generation in order to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our style, music, media and teaching are intentionally designed to reach this generation.  But reaching them is only the beginning, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free." Galatians 5:1 and that freedom can come only through an intimate personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Our goal is help all those who attend The Waters Church realize this freedom.  Following Christ is not just a Sunday morning commitment, but an amazing spiritual adventure.

The Waters was started on a very simple yet foundational belief: PEOPLE MATTER TO GOD! We are in a constant pursuit of a dream. It’s the dream of a place where both Christ-followers and seekers can find what they are looking for, find the God who has always loved them, and enter into the type of relationship Jesus desires, the kind we were created to have.
